Chip and Crack Curing Light Package

Get both of our customized UV windshield repair curing lights in one package. Cure chips from inside the vehicle (2-3 minutes) and the pit on the outside. Pit cures is 30 seconds. Our Custom LED long crack curing light is the only LED windshield repair light with uniform UV energy. Both lights can be powered by Lithium Ion battery.


The NEW Bond Wand for 2025 uses two curing methods on cracks: (1) Distance Modulation for: Stage 1 (Gel Phase), Stage 2 (Bulk Cure) and Stage 3 (Final Harding).  The second method used simutanioisly is Spatial Uniformity (sweeping) because long cracks are rarely completely straight and cannot be compeletly covered at the same time by any light.


The Bond Wand has the highest test scores of any windshield repair light ever tested. It increases the strength by 5 -12 % on are chips and all of our resins from 100-2400cps are unbreakable with this light. We have made this new custom LED Curing light that first lights up a special polymeric cover which then emits uniform UV Energy through the other side of the cover.  The cover also reduces the intensity while emitting uniform UV Energy through the cover. This is the ONLY LED Curing light currently on the market that can be used for curing windshield repairs. The new Bond Wand has a 60 second cure time and the highest lab test score of any light tested on the market.


Other LED lights are not filtered or uniform, age over time and progressively get dimmer until they stop working altogether. This is called “lumen degradation” or “LED degradation” and each bulb is giving off a different intensity and degrades at different rate. That is why it has to first light up and go through another surface in order to give out uniform UV energy and there can be little to NO space in-between LED bulbs.


Our Inside Curing Light is the first inside curing light ever made.  It is mounted on the inside of the windshield to cure under pressure or not cure cure under pressure and penetrates through the PVB - turning the PVB into a low intensisty curing source. Having the PVB being the curing source has created a tight bond where the glass and the legs, cracks and bullseye meet the PVB. This has created a significant visual improvement. Star-Breaks virtually disappear. Strength tests also show an increase in the mechanical strength of the repairs. Average cure time curing from inside is 3 minutes.

 

Our New Inside UV Curing Light shows three benefits; (1) significant visual improvement, (2) strength increase and (3) easier to use.


This inside UV curing light penetrates through the PVB so you can cure under pressure from inside the vehicle. Curing under pressure adds 10-20% more mechanical strength to your chip repairs.


The UV intensity is reduced down to the lower proper intensity range going through the PVB for our resins and is the same as our other lights curing from the outside.


There is a significant visual improvement from the inside cure. What makes legs and chip repairs more visible over time is the fact that windshield resins are Free Radical UV Curing Acrylics that do not wet the PVB meaning there is no chemical bond to the PVB so the line where the glass of the leg, crack or bullseye meets the PVB can leave a skeleton or head-on-angle, especially when not curing under pressure. Curing under pressure keeps the resin in place by force and creates an overfill. Curing from the outside the light is on top of the glass and can pull the resin molecules as they crosslink up and off the PVB as you cure if you don't cure under pressure. Curing from the inside through the PVB turning the PVB into the curing source while the piston is in the pressure mode i.e. Curing under pressure which is pushing the resin down and now the cure also pulls the molecules downward forming an extremely tight bond at the line where the legs, cracks or bullseye meets the glass and PVB making the break virtually disappear. Even the head-on-angles are virtually invisible. This  light have a USB plug that can enable power to the light from many sources such as a car adaptor, lithium-Ion battery, or a computer. Most cars from 2015 and up have a USB plug. Cures in about 2-4 minutes with our 50, 70 and 100 resins; cures in 3-4 minutes with our 18, 20 and 40 resins. Then use it to cure the pit on the outside for 60 seconds. Comes with a car plug adaptor and our universal light holder.
